Extreme contemplates performing the recently written "Cupid's Dead" for the first time while touring Europe in 1991. They work out the kinks at soundcheck and backstage (while a few fans peek in from the street) before the show. Then the tour ends and they go home. Filmed/edited by the Control Group.

"Combination of the Two" performed live at Montery closes out this clip from the documentary DVD "Nine Hundred Nights." It was not included in the Pennebaker concert film "Monterey Pop." Instead, a lingering powerful closeup of Janis singing "Ball and Chain" was used to represent Big Brother and the Holding Company's performance at this landmark 1967 festival. STING - pre-show, Turkey

This was shot just before Sting's Ten Summoner's Tales Tour concert at Izmir's Antik Tiyatro Ephesus in Turkey. This ancient amphitheatre is just around the corner from both the first library and the first whorehouse in the world. Sting would typically practice yoga before each gig. The clip is supplemented with various images of Sting doing the other thing he does before a show i.e. waiting.

This is a great version of Nuno's solo guitar showcase from Extreme's 1991 tour. Gary and Paul can be seen in the dressing rooms during this number, Paul listening to the solo over a walkie talkie. 16mm color with B&W S-8 filmed by the Control Group.

"Wounded World" - No Man

This Roger Miller/No Man music video was shot in Boston. The song, "Wounded World", later re-recorded by Mission of Burma for their CD ONoffON, was originally released on Roger's album "How the West Was Won." The video was produced by the Control Group (that's us) and shot on S-8 B&W film.

Love this song and album! I was stationed in Okinawa Japan with the Marine Corps when the album dropped. I got the CD at the Camp Kinser PX and still have it to this day!

I wanted to cry.....I would come home from school at the end of the afternoon and run to watch the clip trip from TV gazeta here in Brazil or dic mtv 10 most requested, this song fell among the 10 when it was released, I fell in love for this music, but at that time 90,91,92 vinyl was super expensive, the pirated cassette tapes that existed were difficult to find extreme, you could only find bands that dominated at that time. Today, seeing the translation, I understand why my heart was beating fast when I heard this song, beautiful...one of the most important songs for this world that serves from generation to generation
The Song at the End of this Video is His Hit King of Pain, and he looks so Super Sexy in his I dont Jockstrap Underwear I dont but it Looks Good to me.
My favorite times with bands is watching them create……on stage the finished product…..creating is so much more important

I always thought these guys were going to be the top level but I suspect it was timing with music trends. 3 Sides comes out when the whole new school came in dare I say grunge. I loved these guys because it was good solid rock, elements of funk, and killer melody…and an awesome guitar player. I always though the whole grunge thing was posing…..hey man let’s play sloppy because melodic killer guitar solos are bad…..but dang Nuno was next level. The recent 2 Hour Rick Beato ( check it out) interview with Nuno is awesome. What a fantastic humble and appreciative person Nuno is
